CG and Mrs. Wickman Reach Out to Liaoning Province Shiyan High School

On the afternoon of March 15, 2010, Consul General Mr. Wickman and Mrs. Wickman visited Liaoning Province Shiyan High School. Mr. Wickman presented a book on 200 Years U.S.-China Relations to the school leadership, led by President Guan Junqi.  In a big classroom of about 60 students and 50 teachers, CG and Mrs. Wickman shared their experience working as volunteers at Peace Corps and encouraged students at Liaoning Shiyan High School to volunteer in their own community. Students were amazed at their rich experience, and they enjoyed their lively interaction and humorous way of answering questions. Afterwards, CG and Mrs. Wickman had a Q and A session with 50 English teachers from many keys schools in Shenyang, and IRC Director Xiao Bai introduced English teaching and learning resources available at Consulate's Information Resource Center. >>Photo Gallery
