Humphreys Fellowships Application Procedures (for 2010-11)

Interested applicants who meet the application criteria should submit applications online to the U.S. Embassy by June 1, 2009.

Based on an initial review of these applications, the U.S. Embassy will invite those candidates deemed most highly qualified to appear for a personal interview at their own expense in Beijing in early August 2009.  Applications for a limited number of candidates who are selected from the China interview process will be submitted to Washington, D.C., where the final selections are made.  Announcements about the final selection will be made in February or March 2010.  Selection is very competitive.
